The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Gym for All Sport Development Committee (GfA SDC) applies a managed rotation with a schedule of re-appointments. These roles were due for re-appointment by 15 October 2020 however this was delayed until 2021 due to the Covid pandemic. As such, the following roles are now up for re-appointment:

  • Trampoline (and Tumbling) Advisor
  • Rhythmic Advisor
  • Aerobics Advisor

We are also seeking applications for the Team Gym Advisor role to fill a vacancy that has temporarily been filled by a co-opted member in the past 12 months.

Expression of Interest (EOI) Process
We will now be conducting an EOI process for these positions on the GfA SDC. We encourage you to read the TOR below to ensure you have a good grasp of the role of the GfA SDC. As per the terms of reference, applications should be made in writing to the chief executive with a particular focus on what you can bring to the GfA SDC in the role applied for. Should you wish to discuss any aspect of the documentation prior to application then feel free to email your questions to chiefexecutive@gymnasticsnz.com.

Timeline
EOIs will close at midnight Friday 15 October. The Technical Appointments Panel (TAP) will then begin the process of assessing the applications received, against the working requirements of the committee. The work of the TAP will also cover the appointments of the Technical Committees. As such, a conclusion to this process is anticipated by mid-November.

Terms of Reference Review
Please note that while the Technical Committee TORs have been reviewed and updated, a review of the GfA SDC TOR will take place over the next 12 months.
