Youth and Coach Development Opportunities (CDOs)

Coach development opportunities (CDOs) are informal learning experiences designed to help coaches build skills, confidence, and knowledge at all stages of their coaching journey.

These opportunities sit alongside Gymnastics NZ’s formal education pathway and support ongoing development across key areas outlined in the coach development framework including technical skills, holistic athlete development, and interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

Together, the framework and coach development opportunities support continuous, well-rounded coach development.
