Have you ever wanted to train, study, and live abroad while immersing yourself in gymnastics, movement, and a new culture?

Applications are open for the 2027 Ollerup scholarships, giving eligible Gymnastics NZ members the opportunity to study at one of Denmark’s most recognised gymnastics schools while developing their skills, independence, and international experience.
Available Scholarships
- January – December 2027 – July 2027 (12 months – approx. $16,000)
- January – July 2027 (6 months – approx. $7,000)
- August – December 2027 (6 months – approx. $7,000)
The scholarships cover approximately 50% of the total programme cost.
What You’ll Experience
Ollerup offers a broad programme combining sport, movement, personal development, and cultural experiences. During your time there, you’ll take part in:
- sport and movement
- outdoor activities
- leadership development
- Danish language and intercultural studies
- NGO and volunteer organisation experience
- project work.
You can also select from a range of specialist gymnastics and movement options, with availability varying between semesters. Options include performance tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, TeamGym, power tumbling and health & fitness.

How to Apply
Applications are open to active Gymnastics NZ members who will be 18 years or older at the start of their study. The application criteria, application form, and full programme information are available in the Ollerup handbook.
Applications close Sunday 4 October 2026, and online interviews will be held during the week of Monday 12 October 2026.
