The World University Games (Universiade) is a biennial multi-sport event with a traditionally strong field of competition. It is with great excitement that we have selected a team to represent New Zealand at the 2019 event which is to be held in Naples, Italy, 5-15 July. The team selected is:

• Harvey Humber (Counties Manukau Gymnastics)
• Batuhan Yazici (North Harbour Gymnastics Club)
• Coach: Adrian Coman (Counties Manukau Gymnastics)

Congratulations to these three men on their selections. We wish you all the very best in your training and competitions.

We would also like to congratulate Gareth Brettell (Tri Star Gymnastics) who has been appointed by FIG to the MAG judging panel at this event.

We are very much looking forward to having New Zealand representation on both sides of the floor, in Naples in July.
