Twice a year the GymSports NZ Board hold a Community Cabinet- one in the North Island and one in the South Island. This is an opportunity for clubs to have direct contact with the Board, give feedback and ask questions, and have an open discussion. It is a great opportunity for the board to engage with the community directly and to hear their thoughts, opinions, and concerns first hand.
This year’s North Island Community Cabinet was held in Hamilton on Friday 31 March. Seven Midlands Clubs were represented and enjoyed a good discussion on a range of topics including health and safety, NZ GymSports Championships, strategic direction and the new artistic routines.
