In keeping with previous years, there will be two Community Cabinets held this year at two separate locations. The first Cabinet is scheduled to take place in the Midlands region, providing clubs with the opportunity to bring matters of importance to the GymSports NZ Board.
The date for the Cabinet is Friday 31 March from 6pm – 7.30pm at Sport Waikato (Trusts Waikato Room), Brian Perry Sports House, Wintec Rotokauri Campus, Akoranga Road, Hamilton.
The agenda for this discussion with the Board is to be driven by you – the gymsports community. As such, I would urge you to send any topics you would like to be considered directly to Angela. To ensure that the meeting has some flow and structure we will review topic submissions, create a list and forward a completed agenda in preparation for the forum. If time permits there could be an opportunity to table additional topics on the night.
This is your opportunity to engage the Board directly on the topics of gymsports that matter to you most. I would encourage you to not only think of topics, but to also make yourself available on the night to be part of the discussion in person. This is a great opportunity to talk directly with those empowered to govern your sport. Community Cabinets held to date have proven to be well received, informative and beneficial to all who have attended.
