Please make sure you have registered someone from your club or an alternative delegate from another club for the GymSports NZ AGM next week in Wellington.  Find more information including conference agenda.

#waitoagymstars

When you post pictures of your Waitoa Free Range Chicken Stars of the Week, please use the hashtag #waitoagymstars or mention @gymsportsnz so that we can see the pictures as well. If you have not yet posted or sent in any photos of the Star of the Week certificates being handed out, please can you do so – we need to be able to show our wonderful sponsors that these certificates are being used throughout the country.

Sport Harbour – “Nominate Your Hero” for “Volunteer of the Month”

Volunteering is one of Harbour Sport’s 5 key strategic pillars with the stated outcome of More Harbour people volunteering in sport. Courtesy of Lotto NZ, their Volunteer of the Month Programme for 2017 celebrates and rewards volunteers in our community.

There are nearly a million volunteers in New Zealand who give up their time for sport. It is only right that they are rewarded for the awesome work they do.
Sports volunteers or ‘Sport Makers’ come in all shapes and sizes – whether it’s blowing a whistle, coaching, balancing the books or helping cook the sausages for the fundraising BBQ – they are all important in helping make sport happen.

If you think you know someone who would deserve $90 for their efforts then just let Sport Harbour know! It will only take 5-10 minutes of your time, and they read every entry! Nominate someone now.
