As per the AGM notice, nominations are open for the community honours of Life Membership, Meritorious Award, and National Service Award.
These awards recognise individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to gymnastics in New Zealand.

About the Awards
- National Service Award – recognises outstanding service to gymnastics at a national level, exceeding the criteria for a club service award.
- Meritorious Award – acknowledges significant contributions to gymnastics that warrant recognition beyond a service award.
- Life Membership – awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional and sustained service to gymnastics in New Zealand. Please note: Nominees must have previously received a meritorious award to be eligible.
Nomination Guidelines
- Nominations must be submitted by member clubs.
- All nominations must use the official nomination form (linked below).
- Life membership nominations must include:
- A curriculum vitae
- Support from at least two referees or two written references
- Nominations must be sent to the Gymnastics NZ national office and received no later than 5:00pm, Tuesday 13 May 2025.
- Late nominations will not be considered.
Full eligibility criteria can be found in Rules 11.2 and 11.3 of the General Regulations.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Honours Committee. Those that meet the criteria will be recommended to delegates at the upcoming AGM.
