Elementary Tumbling Coach Course – Auckland

Tumbling has grown immensely in numbers within gymnastics clubs in New Zealand and we have been working on a new tumbling programme which features both long and short track tumbling for both participation/community programmes and competitive. Short Track allows athletes to compete with 2-4 skills effectively bridging the gap between the recreation and age group programme.

The Tumbling Elementary Coach course covers:

  • Development of skills in Levels 1-3, beginner extension to level 4, age group and short track
  • Connections
  • Tumble pass composition (information on the levels, short track and age divisions)
  • Safety
  • Developing power
  • Competition cards
