2017 is shaping up to be another busy year. In order to help you keep track of everything going on, we have put together a Midlands Event Calendar which includes all events going on in the Midlands region and key National events.

Please note – this calendar is in final draft form. If you have a recreation event you would like to see included or have any changes to the information currently on the calendar, please let you Relationship Manager know as soon as possible. We will send out a final version of the calendar in the coming weeks.

Midlands Championships Events

This year the following Clubs will be hosting Midlands Championship Events:

• Midlands Trampoline & Tumbling Championships – MIGS
• Midlands Senior Artistic Championships – MIGS
• Midlands Junior Artistic Championships – HCG
• Midlands Aerobics Championships – Gymnastica
• Midlands Rhythmic Championships – TBC

A huge thank you to all the Clubs who are hosting these events, we look forward to plenty of excellent competitions.

Change to Provincial Affiliation

After an initial request from MIGS and consultation with relevant Clubs, MIGS will be changing their provincial affiliation from Waikato to Bay of Plenty. MIGS sits under the Bay of Plenty Sports Trust and Regional Authorities and from 2017 will compete for Bay of Plenty at New Zealand Gymsports Championship events.
