Gymnastics New Zealand is committed to delivering positive gymnastics experiences for everyone across Aotearoa. Recognising that our current membership model, which has remained largely unchanged since 2008, no longer fully meets the needs of our evolving community, we are excited to look at ways we can improve. This initiative will help ensure that our model supports the growth, inclusion, and success of all clubs and participants.

To guide this important work, we have established the Membership Model Working Group. This group brings together a diverse range of voices from across our gymnastics community to explore and develop options for a more effective, sustainable membership model.
Objectives of the Membership Model Working Group
The group aims to:
• Review and provide feedback on the current membership model.
• Explore innovative and inclusive alternatives that align with the 2024-2030 strategic plan.
• Recommend options that deliver value, financial sustainability, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure the model enables positive experiences for all involved in gymnastics.
