MAG 360 Sets the Stage for 2025

Anna Robertsone-News

MAG 360 is the national men’s artistic competitive development program that identifies talented athletes and coaches them into the performance pathway. Several camps are held each year where athletes and coaches come together for focused training sessions.

The first camp of the year was held in Auckland, 18–21 January, and had athletes planning for the year ahead, reinforcing the MAG 360 values, and refining skills, setting the stage for an exciting season to come.

A key focus of the camp was establishing the behaviors that promote a high-performance training environment. Athletes and coaches worked together to create team agreements based on the MAG 360 core values:

  • We are ambitious.
  • We are in it together.
  • We celebrate!

With agreements in place, athletes set their long-term goals and partnered with MAG 360 coaches, implementing a new monitoring program to help athletes stay on track with their goals.

On the floor, a lot of hard work saw some big tricks as skills were progressed, leaving plenty of tired bodies by the end of the four-day camp.

A huge thank you to the MAG 360 coaching team, the clubs who supported their coaches in attending, and the amazing Tri Star team for hosting the camp.

The energy and commitment from both athletes and coaches set an inspiring tone for 2025 and we can’t wait to see what this year has in store.
