The Aerobics Australian Nationals trial saw some fantastic routines, with athletes stepping up to deliver impressive performances. Following the trial, athletes took part in an inspiring workshop led by control judge Deborah Greenbaum, one of Oceania’s most accomplished aerobics specialists.
A former Australian national team member and 12-time national champion, Deborah has represented Australia at three World Championships and multiple World Cups, reaching the finals. Now a leading coach and judge, she recently made history as Australia’s first-ever Category 1 aerobics judge.
During the three-hour workshop, athletes explored new warm-up techniques, refined their skills, and worked on corrections in a supportive and challenging environment. The session was a valuable opportunity for growth, with great progress made by all.
To finish, athletes had the chance to receive individual feedback on their trial performances from Deborah, gaining insights from one of the sport’s top experts.
A big thank you to Deborah for sharing her time, knowledge, and passion with the athletes.
