We are establishing a new selection committee and seeking expressions of interest for three key roles. This committee will be responsible for selecting athletes for pinnacle tours and nominations to the NZ Olympic Committee for the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.

The committee positions are:

• Independent chair – a senior sport administrator who will lead the committee impartially and ensure best-practice processes are followed.
• Independent legal expert – a legal professional who will ensure selections comply with policy and maintain integrity throughout the process.
• Discipline-specific technical experts x 5 – a specialist per code with deep technical knowledge of each gymnastics discipline. (Note: This role will also be involved in selecting athletes for international tours across participation, development, aspiring, and performance levels, alongside a Gymnastics NZ representative.)

These appointments are for the 2025–2028 Olympic cycle.
