2016 was another year of growth for the Greater Auckland and Northland regions.  Combined there were over 2,000 new memberships equating to an 8% growth on 2015 – more than 10% in Northland and nearly 8% in Auckland. The largest growth was once again in the recreation space with over 11% growth. These figures once again reflect the great work being carried out by our community to engage with participants and offer them valuable gymsports experiences.

Later this year, we will a feature series of articles on growth, both by region and by gymsports code. In order to continue this upward growth in our sports, Clubs will need to continue to be proactive in their thinking and planning throughout 2017 and beyond.
