At the 2017 New Zealand Aerobics Gymnastics Championships in Auckland last month, Brooke Davies (Age Group 2) and Laura Furse (Senior International) qualified for the Aerobic World Championships in 2018. Brooke and Laura were acknowledged at the closing ceremony where they performed a routine together.

International Aerobic Gymnast, Laura Furse of Triple-A, retained the NZ National title and was awarded the ADP and International Trophy, given to the individual athlete with the highest score from each session. Laura was New Zealand’s sole representative at the Aerobics World Championships last year in Korea. She has since competed in Bulgaria and Hungary.

Brooke Davies won Gold in Auckland last month in the Age Group 2 (AG-2) with a great score of 19.55.

The Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships for 2018 has been assigned to the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation. They will take place in Guimaraes from 1-3 June with the World Age Group Competitions from 25-27 May.
