We were excited to send a New Zealand team to the 25th PRIME International Invitational competition in Singapore where they were up against more than 500 gymnasts representing 5 other countries; Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.

The selected gymnasts from Auckland are:

Lucy Packer – Tri Star Gymnastics.
Lucy won All Around Gold in STEP 8 (Unders) at the 2017 Artistic New Zealand Championships. In the Apparatus finals she placed 1st on Vault, 3rd on Bar and 1st on Floor.

Tannah van Niekerk – Tri Star Gymnastics.
In the 2017 Artistic New Zealand Championships Tannah finished 6th in STEP 8 Unders. She placed 4th on Vault, 1st on Bar and 1st on Beam.

Ava Fitzgerald – North Harbour Gymnastics.
At the 2017 Artistic New Zealand Championships Ava finished 7th in STEP 8 Unders. In apparatus finals Ava placed 4th on Floor.

The other gymnasts (STEP 8, 9 and 10) in the team travelling to Singapore are from Te Puke, Hamilton, Blenheim, Wellington and Christchurch.
