If you attended the Gymnastics New Zealand 2018 Conference, you would have heard from Frank
Sahlein, the director of 3rd Level Consulting. Frank was a gymnastics coach and business owner for 40
years before he put all his knowledge and experience into creating an online business management
system, specific for gymnastic club management. This will now benefit New Zealand clubs.
The tool provides downloadable templates and online courses in the eight key areas of club

Access for Gymnastics New Zealand affiliated clubs to 3rd Level Consulting is variable and for 2018, is
dependent on the size of your club.
Whilst Frank was in the country, he met with 17 clubs in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland to
explain the functionality of the tool and give some personalised advice relating to some of the
challenges clubs are facing. The feedback from the clubs we visited was extremely positive with club
managers and administrators seeing huge benefits for them and their staff.
At present, there are 41 affiliated clubs who have access to the templates and courses provided by 3rd
