What an incredible week of gymnastics! Over five action-packed days, the 2025 XP Gymnastics Nationals brought together athletes, coaches, judges, volunteers, and supporters from across Aotearoa to celebrate the very best of our sport.
A huge thank you to our naming sponsor Xtreme Productivity (XP) for their continued support and for creating the brand-new live timetable â making it easier than ever to follow all five codes in one place. Thanks also to our official equipment supplier, Gymstuff Limited, for providing world-class equipment that helped deliver an outstanding competition experience.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Trusts Arena or followed along online â your energy and support made XP Nationals 2025 a true celebration of gymnastics. We look forward to seeing you all in Tauranga next year!

Volunteer Requirements
Each province is required to provide at least one volunteer per day for the spotter and artistic recorder roles (minimum one session per day). Smaller regions may apply for a dispensationâdetails will be communicated to provincial coordinators directly.
Please register your interest in attending this seminar by emailing nationals@gymnasticsnz.com by Friday 19 September.
We know that⯠behind every athlete is a village â and at the heart of that village are the parents and caregivers. Raising a youth who is a serious participant in a sport is about far more than showing up on competition day or driving to and from training. Itâs about building a meaningful, connected relationship that supports your childâs growth both on and off the sports âfieldâ.
This seminar explores the vital role parents play in shaping the emotional resilience, motivation, and well-being of young athletes. It offers an introduction to research-based insights and practical tools to help parents:
- Foster open communication and emotional trust with their athlete.
- Support performance without applying pressure.
- Recognize and respond to signs of stress or anxiety.
- Strengthen the parent-athlete relationship.
This session is ideal for parents who want to go beyond simply âbeing thereâ â and learn how to truly connect, guide, and empower their athlete to thrive in both sport and life.
This is being held at the event 10.30am Wednesday 24 September .
