Kiwis Make Finals at World Cup Melbourne

Anna RobertsonCompetitive Gymnastics, International, Men's artistic gymnastics, Women's artistic gymnastics

Our New Zealand Artistic Gymnastics teams have done us all proud at the inaugural World Cup Melbourne last week.  All three of our women’s team made their World Cup debuts, and made finals. On the men’s team, Jorden O’Connell-Inns put up a solid first World Cup routine on pommel horse before the more experienced Luke Dobney and Devy Dyson making finals.

Coaches Josiah Geange (WAG) and Toby Levine (MAG) said it was great experience for the athletes and they are pleased with their results.

New Zealand was also represented on the judging panels by Esther Hyde and Michelle Woolf on the WAG panels and Gareth Brettell and Ken Bow on the MAG panels.
