Ollerup Adventures Begin for Jessie and Millie

Anna Robertsone-News

We’re proud to send our best wishes to Jessie Mok (Capital Gymnastics) and Millie Woodley-Phillips (NHG) as they embark on their studies at the world-renowned Ollerup Academy in Denmark.

Jessie is heading off on a 6-month scholarship, while Millie will spend 12 months at the academy—both focusing their studies on power tumbling.

Jessie, a dedicated volunteer coach and judge, is a strong advocate for growing tumbling in Wellington. After first applying to Ollerup seven years ago but being unable to attend, her determination to reapply and succeed is truly commendable.

Millie is a FIG 17+ trampoline and tumbling athlete and a junior coach in both codes. One of her key goals upon returning to Aotearoa is to bring back fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and coaching strategies to support the development of young athletes and fellow coaches.

We’re proud to support their journey and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll have when they return. Safe travels, Jessie and Millie!
