Introducing the Gymnastics NZ Alumni Network

Anna Robertsone-News

Were you once a New Zealand gymnastics representative on the world stage?
If you competed at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, World Games or World Championships, we’d love to reconnect with you.

The Gymnastics NZ Alumni Network is a new initiative to celebrate and stay connected with the athletes who have proudly worn the fern at the abovementioned events. It’s our way of honouring your contribution to the sport and keeping the line of connection open—without any expectations on your time or involvement.

Why Join?

Becoming part of the Alumni Network is simple, free, and flexible. Once you sign up, you’ll:

  • Be listed in the Gymnastics NZ Alumni directory.
  • Receive occasional invitations to special events.
  • Stay updated with opportunities to re-engage with the gymnastics community—if and when it suits you.

There are no obligations—just an open invitation to reconnect, celebrate, and continue to be part of the sport’s story in Aotearoa.

If you’re eligible, we’d love you to add your name to the directory. Join the Alumni Network here.

A Message to Clubs

We know many of our former representatives are still connected to their clubs, and we’d appreciate your help in spreading the word. If you’re in touch with past athletes who meet the criteria, please send them to gymnasticsnz.com/alumni and encourage them to sign up.

Together, let’s recognise and celebrate the athletes who helped shape the sport in Aotearoa.
