A huge congratulations to Havana Hopman (Counties Manukau) on representing New Zealand at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Rio last week. Havana held her own against the world’s best, delivering solid routines and showing great composure on the international stage.

Her final results were:

• all-around: 45th / 97
• hoop: 46th / 98
• ball: 42nd / 98
• clubs: 46th / 98
• ribbon: 37th / 98.

We also want to acknowledge coaches Elena Pirozhenko and Tracey Redhead for their support and guidance. Tracey judged at the pinnacle event. Together, Team Havana has done another incredible job representing New Zealand with pride.
